This is the fucking weirdest thing i have ever, EVER read.

Ok, well, probably not. But it is, at the very least, the weirdest Star Trek fanfiction.

And oddly enough, it was all also written really well. That's the thing I've noticed about Star Trek fanfiction. Particularly K/S or 'Spirk' fanfiction. The old ones are written really, really well, but they have this total WTF factor to them. Like, this is a relatively old one, and it's written by someone who's known for writing these old used-to-be-zines fanfictions, and she makes this story where a red-headed mind raper comes on a ship and makes Kirk and Spock not want each other any more before Kirk has a freudian dream about danger that turns out to be about getting it on and saves Spock via SEX. They have this giant, prolonged orgasm that takes place in the surreal, trippy world of mind-meld, where they are swimming naked in the ocean and projected against this fiery, starry sky. And Spock's just waking up from having his mind controlled and he's just like 'shouldn't I be in the labs?' o_O and looks down and they're all NAKED and everything, and he's all like *emotions* and Kirk marvels at the fact that his dick looks minty.

WTF.

Oh, well, and then there's a huge, awesome twist/revelation and the story becomes one of the most fascinating pieces of fanfiction I've ever read, which really ADDS TO THE WTFNESS, in a way. And then there's a bit more WTFness, but I don't want to ruin it, just in case anyone reads it.

How can this be written well? Seriously, how? Because it was. I mean, this is some unbelievably good writing (if you finish it). Cracked up parts; good writing. Whereas the nuTrek fanfiction, which I've become the tiniest bit addicted to, manages somehow to be absolutely crazy with very little of that WTF factor (compared to this, anyway. I mean, it is still Star Trek fanfiction), but it's always a chance, whether or not the writing is good. I mean, don't get me wrong. Allot of nuTrek fanfictions are written SPECTACULARLY. It's kind of scary. But it's still a chance, while these zine people can bang out a minty cock mind raper sending our heroes to orgasmic ocean naked land story and it's garunteed STILL good, which I don't understand.

Ah well. The world is crazy. It's one of the things I love about it, anyway. o_o
